Rock Tumbling Polypropylene Filler | SINOPEC PP T03

Volans rock tumbling polypropylene filler uses SINOPEC PP T03 virgin polypropylene pellets as protective filler media in rotary tumblers, stone polishers and gem tumblers.

Key specs

• Media: polypropylene homopolymer pellets (SINOPEC PP T03 virgin — not recycled)
• Role: filler / cushion media for any tumbling stage (coarse through final polish)
• Claimed benefits: protect fragile or brittle stones; reduce barrel noise; help fill the barrel to a recommended level
• Pellet traits: non-toxic, non-static, BPA-free, food-grade quality; smooth round pellets; float for separation/cleaning
• Pack options: 500g bag or 1kg bag (re-closable)
• Bulk: 25kg and wholesale enquiries via [email protected]

Best for

Rotary rock tumbler loads with soft, fragile or brittle stones, glass, or small loads that need extra cushioning and quieter barrels.

Why it works

Round virgin PP pellets take up space beside grit or polish so stones collide less harshly. They rinse and dry for reuse across stages when kept clean between grits.

NZ notes

Sold by Volans Limited in New Zealand. Use with Volans Stage 1–4 grit/polish and ceramic polishing media from Rock Tumblers & Supplies.

FAQ

Which bag size should I buy? 500g for smaller projects and 1kg for regular or larger loads.

Can I reuse the pellets? Yes — skim, rinse and dry to avoid cross-contamination between grit stages.

Is this grit? No — it is filler media. Use alongside your coarse, medium, fine or polish stages, not instead of grit.
